Well, it looks like this will be the last week of my fashion challenge. Mid-week we decided to book a trip to Mexico...and Leon and Sawyer went to Calgary ahead of me to visit with Grandma and let me have a few days by myself. The final two outfits of Sawyer's at the bottom of this post come to you via Leon:) This has been a lot of fun for me and given me a reason to get out of new-and-underslept-mommy daily yoga pants. Maybe I'll have to think up another one...ideas, anyone?

By the end of Week 2 I started to loathe the sight of these jeans. But I will make it through to the end of the month if it kills me. On that note...here is Week 2...let me know your favourite days for both the big girl and the little girl...

For no reason other than to be creative, and to give me a chance to reacquaint myself with my wardrobe, I decided I wanted to take one piece of clothing and style it a different way every day for a month. These new skinny jeans I have are both versatile, and sexy...so I thought they might be a fun piece to use. These are my first 7 outfits. And I threw in a OOTD for Sawyer, too, each day, since that little one has a ridiculously big and beautiful wardrobe (thanks to the generosity of a few kind friends)...

Conclusion...the thing I missed the most this week was fruit. Which I think you can see from how much more of it I allowed myself to eat this week...mostly on my tamer-ish "free" day. Still didn't exercise this week, but Leon swears it'll start this week:-) Have begun to brush my teeth 1x a week with a baking soda and lemon mixture to see if I can naturally whiten my iron-stained teeth. And I think I've come the conclusion that I want to be blonde again. Not really, really blonde, but blonde. I am just not feeling as fabulous as I know I could with this darker, ashy hair.

Right. So, here we go. I'd like to tell you that I am going to try a whole lot of new, cool recipes this week, but I have a 8 week old newborn, so I doubt that will happen.

In order to shed the 15 pounds I gained during pregnancy, I am heading back into my low sugar, low carb way of eating, as I learned through Jorge Cruise's The Belly Fat Cure. The rules are few: eat no more than 15g of sugar per day, and no more than 6 servings of carbs. 1 serving = 5-20g, 2 servings = 21-40g, 3 servings = 41-60g, etc.

Can see how much better this porkchop would have looked and probably tasted on the grill. Gotta get a BBQ!
